Brian, along with two of his drivers, flew to the Great Dane Wayne manufacturing plant, where they were given a tour. “I was impressed with the facility, the people, and the way we were warmly welcomed. Seeing how the company operates firsthand, it’s clear that Great Dane prioritizes quality at every step,” Reynolds said.

This includes an extra light package inside the trailer that Reynolds describes as “superb”, heavier 5th wheel plates, galvanized stringers suited for the climate in which the company operates, heavy-duty gusset plates on the rear, and aluminum floors tailored for their specifications.

His long-standing partnership with Chris Hammond is a perfect example. “I met Chris about 30 years ago, and we’ve maintained a great relationship ever since,” Reynolds said. Over the years, they’ve connected at various truck shows, including in Toronto, Canada, Louisville, Kentucky, and Savannah, Georgia. “Chris has always been a reliable source of valuable information for me. Whether it’s about trailers, industry trends, or fleet management, I know I can count on him for expert advice and support,” Reynolds explained.

Looking ahead, Brian says he’ll continue to build on his partnership with Great Dane. He’s planning to visit Great Dane’s Statesboro, Georgia plant, to gain more insight into the company’s ongoing innovations. “Great Dane is always ahead of the curve when it comes to technology and quality.
